there's gary boulevard marina district. secondstreet in the marin head lands. you're starting to see showers, embarcadero we come out a little bit more. that area of showers are heading out moving in motion kind of a northeast deal. what we're going to see are these showers increasing throughout the evening hours. by the morning commute we're going the see wet conditions and so your morning commute is going to see a slow one just based on that. it's not a gully washer but there will be periods of moderate to heavy rain at times. really short lived. this is widely scattered stuff. tomorrow mid, 7:00, 8:00 in the morning we will see the stuff moving out. those yellows are all north of the bay area. that's when most of the rain has been. up in the santa rosa area, they've had about .2 of an inch of rain. this area will move late tonight early tomorrow morning. so your morning commute there it is at 6:00 a.m. that's significant rainfall after that red. that's going to represent some very significant rainfall in a short period. it's not a large mass area. steve paul

activity over the past few minutes, developing, around the marina. just approaching over the next few minutes, up in the north bay, scattered about parts of sonoma, marin and out toward the richmond san rafael bridge. this activity beginning to scoot out to the south and east of richmond. as far as current numbers its cool, mainly in the 40s to 50s. santa rosa 39, concord 44. this morning some cool showers, temperatures mainly in the 40s into the afternoon hours, sun cloud mix and a fairly good bet of shower activity, especially into the early portion of the afternoon. yesterday of course we had all the moderate to heavy rain. today we have this. we have the cold part of the storm, the speckled clouds, you can see off shore. that is the cool unstable air. that will be the source of more half activity for this morning and possibly in to the early portion of the afternoon. a winter storm warning in place for the sierra again until 11:00 this evening. snow fall today about four to eight inches and now levels above 3500 feet. great news for the skiers, i
